Graphenea is glad to announce participation at BIO International Convention 2023 in Boston, MA, USA. We will present our stand as part of the European Pavilion. Graphenea was selected after a highly competitive evaluation process among companies that are participating in the European Innovation Council (EIC) program.
BIO 2023, America’s leading biotech exhibition, will take place in Boston from 5 to 8 June 2023. Following the success of the European Pavilion at BIO 2022, EIC-funded SMEs, startups and scale ups have the unprecedented opportunity to exhibit their innovations, connect with industry peers and establish promising partnerships. Offerings range from digital health IT applications to inventive concepts and sustainable biotech solutions that deliver a positive impact in the healthcare sector.
EIC is a funding programme of the European Commission for highly innovative businesses. The selection for the European Pavilion was based on our internationalisation goals, technological fit with the scope of the trade fair, as well as our capacity to create business out of the participation at the convention. The participation is within the framework of the EIC Overseas Trade Fairs (OTF) Programme 2.0.
Graphenea will present our Graphene Foundry capabilities for medical diagnostics. The company has been very active on the biotech market, offering a number of solutions for biosensing, including standardized biosensing products and dedicated multiproject wafer runs. Furthermore, we are actively contributing to the use of graphene in biotech, by our participation in research projects on topics such as developing new therapeutic strategies, detection of SARS-CoV-2 with graphene, and gauging graphene sensors against ELISA and Simoa biosensors.
