2nd generation mGFET for biosensing released
Graphenea announces the 2nd generation of the mGFET device! The mGFET is a readily available graphene transistor for use in biosensing applications. The new devices are ultra-sensitive, very fast, with response time measured in seconds, have multiplexing capability and high specificity. Furthermore, the mGFET is easy to use, lowering the barriers of entry to the world of biosensing with graphene!
The graphene in the mGFET can be functionalized with specific receptors. When a target analyte is introduced to the sensing channel, it changes the electric field within the channel. Paired with the Graphenea card, the mGFET system provides real-time sensing. Up to 260 devices are offered on standard formats, although custom designs are also available.
