Graphenea has been selected for funding in the first Advanced Materials Innovation Open Call of the MAT4EU (Advanced Materials for a Sustainable European Future) Project (Cascade Founding). This enables us to advance our sustainability initiatives by investigating the use of recycled graphite to produce Heat Transfer Additive (HTA). HTA is a patented, graphene-based additive formulated to improve heat transfer in the corrugation process by integrating directly with starch-based bio-polymers used in agri-food packaging.

Advancing the EU Critical Raw Materials Act, this closed-loop innovation eliminates the product line's reliance on virgin, non-EU graphite. This project is co-funded by the European Union's Single Market Programme under grant agreement No.101236201.
