Graphenea Announces Financial Figures for 2022 with a strong 34% growth rate

Graphenea, a technology company specializing in the production of graphene, has released its financial figures for 2022, highlighting an impressive growth rate and the successful launch of a new business.

Consolidated revenue for 2022 amounted to 4.18 million €, reflecting a remarkable 34% year-over-year growth rate. Additionally, the company achieved a positive EBITDA of 0.78 million €, demonstrating its strong financial performance.

In 2022, Graphenea spun off Kivoro, a specialty chemicals producer focused on developing tailor-made solutions for industrial challenges. Kivoro has exceeded the boundaries of graphene technology, focusing on developing advanced additives to bring about operational efficiencies and emissions reductions for clients while maintaining expertise in carbon and nanomaterials.

The launch of Kivoro has allowed Graphenea to diversify its offerings and strengthen its position in the market. The company now has two core businesses: Graphenea Semiconductor, a graphene foundry, and Kivoro, an advanced additive manufacturer for industrial applications. Both businesses are growing rapidly, with a presence in over 50 countries and the USA being the primary market. The companies employ a dedicated team of 38 people, who are committed to delivering high-quality products and services to customers.

Graphenea has been a leader in the graphene production sector since its inception in 2010, with offices in San Sebastián (Spain) and Boston (USA). Through continuous research and innovation, the company supports its customers by producing new forms of graphene, from graphene field effect transistor chips to graphene oxides. With a strong track record of success and a commitment to excellence, Graphenea is well-positioned to continue its growth trajectory and lead the graphene industry into the future.
