MATPSAP: Advanced materials for the treatment and sustainable production of high-purity water
The MATPSAP project, part of Mission 4 “Ecosystem Decontamination,” is primarily focused on developing advanced materials derived from cellular polymers. These materials are designed to be integrated into systems that enable the efficient and sustainable production of water, helping to slow the depletion of this vital natural resource while reducing waste generated during treatment processes, which in turn mitigates ecosystem degradation. The consortium leading this initiative is composed of CellMat Technologies (project leader), Water2kW, Graphenea, along with the University of Valladolid and the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The project was funded by CDTI, under the program MISIONES 2024 (project MIG-20241145).
